What is inquiry?

Inquiry is the process of finding answers to questions. Inquiry in art and science usually produce different products, just as inquiry in social science appears to be different from inquiry in engineering. Despite these differences, the process of posing and answering questions is similar in all disciplines. It provides a lens from which to explore the question.

A paper, work of art, poster, presentation, field report, or one of many other possibilities can all be evidence of scholarly work. The important part of inquiry is that questions are being asked, solutions are being explored, problems are being tackled, and answers are being shared in the most appropriate form.
