I am a junior geography major, with a focus in applied cartography, my research focuses in water quality of roadside springs, and using GIS to understand relationships between land use and contamination. My goals after graduation are to attend grad school internationally and earn my Ph.D.
Project Description:
Understanding water quality of roadside springs, this project sampled 70 roadside springs across the state and tested them for EPA regulated contaminants and for PFAS, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and personal care products. With the goal of quantifying water quality for a drinking water source used by many rural folks.
