Designing the RF Switching System for PBR Ground Calibration

Elise Beishline

My primary project is the design and implementation of an RF Switching System for ground calibration boxes. This system integrates Linux-based programming via PuTTY to SSH into a BeagleBone Black microcontroller, paired with an H-bridge to control an RF switch. The switch enables routing output signals to either X or Y axis antennas, ensuring a fully calibrated GPS and timing profile of the in-air detection equipment. The system allows adjustable switching frequencies and configurable signal paths, providing flexibility for calibration procedures.
