Project Title:
Healthy Residents Study 2.0
Project Description:
Currently, I am working on an extension to our first research project “The Healthy Residents Study” which is a community-based research project focused primarily on housing needs in the greater New Kensington area. For this research, we have conducted qualitative interviews in New Kensington and surrounding areas to explore associations between the structure of the home and it’s contributions to health outcomes for residents. The extension of this project “Healthy Residents 2.0” is still in the works! We plan on furthering our research to examine the associations between air quality and physiological biomarkers by asking participants to wear a device that has the capability to analyze air quality and correlating those findings to the participant biomarkers/health information.
