University Libraries
The University Libraries are here to support you throughout your entire research process. For those just starting undergraduate research experiences, the Libraries can assist you in developing the skills needed for this work. Additionally, once you have entered an undergraduate research experience, the Libraries can help supplement and enhance your experience with workshops geared toward building research skills. The Libraries can also provide guidance and training, in addition to your mentors, in your undergraduate research experience. There are many places to look for help!
Based on your library need, you might want to consider:
- Finding your subject or campus librarian and scheduling an appointment
- Using LionSearch, located on the Libraries’ homepage, to find interdisciplinary resources related to your topic
- Finding your subject guide for database recommendations related to your field or area of study
- Scheduling a consultation at the Center for Maps and Geospatial Information
- Scheduling a consultation for support with data management, data analysis & visualization, or data publishing through the Data Learning Center

The Council of Undergraduate Research (CUR) is the preeminent organization centered around strengthening undergraduate research and creativity activity.
