Winners of York's undergraduate research, creative accomplishments announced

Each year, students demonstrate excellence in information literacy through Penn State York's Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Accomplishments. This year, the library selected five winning projects, out of twenty.


Penn State Schuylkill students present research at ECA-USC 2024 conference

Twelve student researchers from Penn State Schuylkill had their original research accepted to the Eastern Communication Association's conference, presenting a total of 10 papers and seven poster projects from a variety of disciplines. Alongside student successes, faculty mentors and alumni had their papers recognized.  


Penn State Altoona hosts 22nd annual research and creative activities fair

The fair offers students a chance to share their research projects and other creative activities with the campus community, friends and family members through oral presentations, poster presentations and performances in various categories.

Three Penn Staters earn national Goldwater Scholarships

Penn State undergraduates Nate Carey, Bridget Reheard and Mabel Tong have earned the 2024 Goldwater Scholarship, a national award that recognizes undergraduates who show exceptional potential as leaders.


Penn State graduate earns Critical Language Scholarship to develop skills abroad

Penn State alumna Heather Novak earned a Critical Language Scholarship, providing her the opportunity to further develop her Mandarin language skills while living abroad.

Undergraduate Exhibition helps students prepare for future research

For students working toward research careers and higher degrees, the Undergraduate Exhibition for Research, Inquiry and Creative Activity is a particularly valuable opportunity to practice concise presentation and professional research procedures. March 11 is the deadline to apply. 


Brandywine student honors Endangered Species Act anniversary in capstone project

Jacob Campbell, a fourth-year student majoring in multidisciplinary studies and minoring in environmental inquiry, honored the 50th anniversary of the Endangered Species Act in his capstone project.
