Penn State biotechnology senior Nate Carey earns Astronaut Scholarship

Nate Carey, Penn State Schreyer Honors Scholar and integrated undergraduate-graduate student from Chesapeake Beach, Maryland,  recently received a 2024 Astronaut Scholarship. The award aims to further education for undergraduate students pursuing careers in engineering, math, or natural or applied sciences research.

Penn State graduate student Denzell Ivery earned a Boren Fellowship, which will provide him the opportunity to study the Turkish language and eventually travel to Baku, Azerbaijan.

For students working toward research careers and higher degrees, the Undergraduate Exhibition for Research, Inquiry and Creative Activity is a particularly valuable opportunity to practice concise presentation and professional research procedures. March 11 is the deadline to apply. 


2024 Undergraduate Exhibition applications open

Penn State undergraduates from all campuses are invited to participate in the 2024 Undergraduate Exhibition for Research, Inquiry, and Creative Activity. The virtual exhibition will be open April 15-17, with an in-person component at the University Park campus on Wednesday, April 17.
