Quantitative research methods involve collecting numeric data and utilizing statistical analyses to objectively answer a research question or accept/reject a hypothesis. Further, quantitative research methods can allow you to generalize patterns or predict future trends. This session introduces quantitative data analyses methods including descriptions of their assumptions, benefits/shortcomings, and tools to apply them.
