We are neuroscientists interested in understanding what happens in the brain during sleep and how fluid (blood, cerebrospinal fluid) flow is controlled in the brain. We use microscopy, imaging, electrophysiology, and molecular biology techniques in rodent models.

- Students with biological science backgrounds can participate in neuroanatomy projects.
- We are looking for students with strong skills in Python and/or Matlab to study the dynamics of mouse facial expressions during sleep. We are interested in detecting periods of dreaming from changes in the facial expressions.
Minimum Expectations:
Self-motivation and resourcefulness are essential. Programming ability is desirable.
