Magnetorheological (MR) fluids are a type of magnetic material that, when exposed to an external magnetic field, exhibit changes in properties such as resistivity and viscosity. They have a variety of applications as shock absorbers in braking systems or as a magnetic model for synapse function. The aim of this project is to investigate the effect of composition of these fluids on the resistivity property with the end goal of creating a magnetically active switch.
