This study examined correlations between injury severity levels and semantic memory deficits post Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). Participants were divided based on their Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score range: Mild (13-15), Moderate (9-12), Severe (3-8). Semantic memory retrieval was analyzed using two cognitive tests - the Boston Naming Test and Verbal Letter Fluency. Results showed a moderate positive relationship between Glasgow Coma Scale score and letter fluency in the moderate TBI test group.
