Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) and Social Media Use

The purpose of this research is to determine which popular social media site (SMS) correlates with higher amounts of  FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) among its users. There hasn’t been a single study that has evaluated the FOMO effect across all popular social media sites to see where FOMO  might be higher. Additionally, this study will separate trait and state anxiety to see how much FOMO influences anxiety among social media users.
