Amrita Anand

I am a junior majoring in Materials Science and Engineering (MatSE) with research experience in metals processing, photovoltaics, and petrology. I was awarded 2nd place for my poster on thin-film Perovskite LEDs at the MatSE Spring 2024 Awards. This summer, I interned at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where I investigated friction stir processed iron alloys. My goal is to pursue a PhD in Materials Science to contribute to innovations in sustainable energy and critical mineral research.
