URFM

Hello! I am a third-year HDFS student at Penn State Harrisburg. I have presented research at a national conference, local conferences, and on campus. I have received a first place award for my research on the relationship between motor vehicle accidents and mental health. I am currently working on research relating to juvenile mental health courts, motor vehicle accident policy, stigma in policymaking and implementation, and romantic relationships among young adults. I am working towards graduating a year early to work in the legal field and attend law school. After law school, I hope to practice juvenile and family criminal law or civil rights advocacy.

Current Research Project:
Juvenile mental health court eligibility and accessibility. Young adult coping mechanisms and situationships on college campuses.
Project Description:
I am currently working on four different research projects. My Schreyer honors thesis is a content analysis on juvenile mental health court eligibility and accessibility. I am a a research assistant in the public policy stigma lab on the Penn State Harrisburg campus where we are working on an exhaustive scoping review of United States policy. I have two "passion projects" that I am working on regarding young adult coping mechanisms and situationships on college campuses.
