I am a third year biotechnology student in the Integrated Undergraduate-Graduate degree program (Bachlor's and Master's dual degree program) and minoring in neuroscience and ENTI (entrepreneurship). I have been conducting research in the Kwapis lab since my first semester of my first year, investigating the mechanisms behind long-term memory formation in young and old mice. I hope to pursue a PhD in neuroscience once I graduate!
Current Research Project:
Long-Term Memory Formation and the Role of the Per1 Gene in the Hippocampus of Young and Old Mice
Project Description:
Investigating the mechanisms behind long-term memory formation in young and old mice, specifically focusing on the Per1 gene in the hippocampus.
