Mind-body practices have been used to promote physical activity (PA), but little is known on how they impact other health behaviors. In a group of sedentary adults who participated in an 8-week culturally adapted mind-body intervention, increased self-reported PA was significantly associated with increased fruit and vegetable consumption at post-intervention (v=.286, p=.043). Findings suggest mind-body interventions may be utilized to promote a wide range of healthy behaviors beyond PA and improve health in adults.
