There is a lack of understanding to best design technology to meet the needs of the parent-child relationship in engaging educational experiences toward skill and habit development. We began to address this research problem by conducting an interview study to gain insights into learning within the parent-child relationship. We identified deliberate parenting practices that highlight the untapped design opportunities to support the health, well-being and developmental concerns of both parents and their children simultaneously.
