Luteal NR5A2 abundance during early cyclicity, early pregnancy, and luteal regression was examined. NR5A2 mRNA decreased by 8hr after PGF2α injection. Protein tended to decrease by 0.5hr and decreased by 2hr after PGF2α. NR5A2 mRNA increased between D4 and D6 of the estrous cycle but protein abundance was unchanged. NR5A2 mRNA was lesser on D20 and D23 compared to D14 of pregnancy; no days differed from day 17. Protein abundance during early pregnancy was unchanged.
