Research focused on determining the effects of thermo-electric field assisted sintering of a bronze material. The sintering will occur using an Ultra-flex HS-4 induction heater and simultaneously passing of a current through the sample to the point of sintering. Following, the microstructural characteristics and mechanical properties of the sintered samples will be compared with that of a conventional oven style sintering process.
