The objective is to identify how farmers from non-farming backgrounds became farmers, including insight on their backgrounds, challenges endured, successes, future plans and advice to curious students. I'll expand on topics such as skills, education, internships, and other experiences farmers had. Findings will help students feel comfortable and motivated to explore farming careers with knowledge about how people from non-farming backgrounds became farmers.
