Comparison of Antibody Sample Types

Jasmine Morgan
Avian Influenza Virus (AIV) is an important viral pathogen that causes significant loses to the poultry industry. Surveillance for AIV in wild avian reservoirs is critical to defining the epidemiology of this virus but is often limited by a lack of appropriate samples or diagnostic approaches. To address this issue, our research evaluates field-friendly approaches to collect samples from wild ducks that can be used for AIV antibody detection.
