Design of a Low-Temperature Plasma Electrode for Future Cardiovascular Treatments

Daniel Holcomb

The goal of this project is to design an electrode capable of producing plasma for cardiac treatments. This device will treat infected cardiac devices with a safer process leading to a quicker recovery time. We have seen our most successful data by using a copper electrode with a smooth round tip and coated with parylene, a dielectric.
