The Supreme Court's influence on public’s opinion in salient and low salient cases

Richard Montone

My thesis examines whether the Supreme Court has the ability to influence public opinion for both salient and low salient cases. I looked at four separate cases. Two of the cases involved gun rights while the other two looked at executive powers. For each topic, one case is a salient case while the other is low salient for the purpose of comparison.
